The Patent Attorney Office "R.ORUJOV - IP Law Office" specializes on protection of the Intellectual Property in Azerbaijan. The main directions of our business are rendering of all kinds of services in patent and trademarks processing, copyrights and other kinds of services in IP business.

The director and leading expert of the office is Patent Attorney Mr. Rufat Orujov, who has more than 26 years active practice in the field of Intellectual Property protection. During this time rising from head of sector up to head of patent departments in a various organizations big experience has been accumulate by Mr. Rufat Orujov. Since 1987 Mr. Rufat Orujov filled a position of the director of Azerbaijan Institute of Technical Creativity and Patents where patent experts and inventors were qualified.

Apart from the main work, Mr. Rufat Orujov carried out the public work as head of patent consulting office within Baku and, later, Azerbaijan Society of Inventors and Innovators. Mr. Rufat Orujov was a member of board of Azerbaijan Scientific and Technical Society, member of board of Invention Methodology Center. In 1985-1987 he filled public position of rector of Azerbaijan Public Institute of Inventing Creativity.

After the creation of Patent Attorney institution in Azerbaijan , Mr. Rufat Orujov established private IP office rendering all kinds of IP property protection services, as well as promoting the inventions, utility models and trade marks.

Besides practice of patent attorney, Mr. Rufat Orujov currently conduct active public work. Being expert in IP field Mr. Rufat Orujov is a member of board of Association of Participants of Venture Projects in Azerbaijan, and also he is a member of Azerbaijan Union of Managers.
